| Devil May Cry 2 : Boss Guide : Furiataurus |
Furiataurus: Only Dante fights this flame-based boss. Equip your offence
heart and your quick heart for this fight. This boss has a charging
attack which is just barely dodge able. If you can dodge it though,
you will be in prime position to start attacking his backside. Don't
attack for too long though, or he will turn around and swing his scepter
in front of him to hit you. Another attack he has is when he jumps
up into the air and slams into the ground, causing a ring of fire
to encircle him.
If you see him start to jump up, jump clear of the ring, and start
shooting him with your shotgun. Sometimes he'll start spraying fire
out of his mouth, just dodge out of the way and start attacking him
to avoid this. Sometimes, he will wave his arm around and cause the
ground around him to catch fire. You will know that this is coming
when the ground turns orange. He will then start swinging his staff
around and try to suck you into the fire. Just run in the opposite
direction to avoid this. Once your DT gauge is full, start attacking
him with your sword, and you should be able to stun him so that he
can't attack you while you are hitting him.
