| Devil May Cry 2 : Boss Guide : Phantom |
Phantom is back and he has basically the same moves as last time.
If you get too close to Phantom's mouth, he will hit you with his
claws, or impale you with his tail. He also has a jump attack where
he will try to crush you. Just start dodging to avoid this. If Phantom
sticks his head into the ground, start running because 3 or 4 lava
columns will come up out of the ground.
When Phantom's mouth starts to glow, dodge behind him because he is
going to shoot a fireball. If he shoots a fire ball into the air,
then start running because it is going to crash back down. Equip the
quick heart and the offence heart for this fight, and your sub machineguns
or the Throwing Daggers. Shoot Phantom if you are far away from him,
or whenever you are in the air. Slash at his head one or two times,
but quickly dodge out of the way or you will be hit. DT when you can,
and go up to his mouth and slash until your gauge runs dry. He should
die after 2 or 3 DTs.
